It will be a busy week ahead for the Liberals as they look to keep selling accomplishments, making funding announcements, and finalizing campaign fundraisers with multiple events aligned for the week ahead.
On the Government announcements front, Liberal Minister of Veterans Affairs Lawrence Macaulay will participate on the National Capital Peacekeepers’ Day Ceremony, in Ottawa, on Sunday, August 11th. The Ceremony commemorates the service of 150,000 Canadians on Peacekeeping missions since 1948.
Minister of Seniors Filomena Tassi will have two funding announcements to organizations that support and care for seniors in the Greater Toronto Area on Monday, August 12th, at the Midland Public Library at 9:20AM and at the Gilbert Centre at 10:50AM.

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland will be at a donor appreciation event in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on August 14th. Finally, Natural Resources Minister Amarjeet Sohi will host a reception fundraiser in Edmonton, Alberta, on August 13th.
For his part, Andrew Scheer will spend time in his riding of Regina — Qu'Appelle in Saskatchewan, with community BBQs scheduled at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Qu’appelle on Monday August 12th, and another at the White City Public Library On Tuesday, August 13th.
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has no scheduled events announced for next week. The orange camp will have a large number of grass roots campaign events including 10 canvass blitz and two volunteer sessions in BC and a BBQ with NDP MP Sheri Benson on August 14th, in Pacific Heights Park, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The party has always relied on strong volunteer turn-out for local campaigns as a key to electoral success, which seems to again be core to their strategy in light of poor fundraising numbers.
